Product Review

Hello my name is Bijou. It was a couple days after my 8th birthday. My dad got home from work, I had no idea what was happening at the time. I went to go say hi to him. He opened his van and I thought he was just getting his gear out but there was a massive package, he said happy late birthday. They had surprised me with a trampoline! He got the tramp out, I wanted to put it up straight away but it was getting dark.

I waited until the weekend to put it up. But before that my mum realised the packaging. It sucked! We had high hopes that the tramp would be alright. When we opened it looked alright. We finished putting it up but realised there was a bunch of holes and big pieces of thread sticking up. My family and I were like what!

The next day we unassembled the tramp. We packaged it up and sent it off to the company we got it from. While that was happening my mum wrote an email to the company. We waited a couple weeks for it to arrive, finally it arrived. I was pretty happy but it was so annoying having to wait. We got the new one for free atleast! We put it up and enjoyed.

I was pretty disappointed but y parents were even more disappointed. I still have the tramp and it’s doing well.

My opinion letter to Newshub

Kia Ora, my name is Bijou. I’m an year 7 at Otaki College. I live in Otaki as you can probably tell.
I like playing sports. I’m writing to you about my opinion on ‘Can you get it in the bin?’

People are getting very lazy. They don’t realise what they are doing to the world there killing animals,
Trashing beaches, lakes and rivers. People are leaving rubbish a metre away from the bins.
'Can you put it in the bin?.

This is not ok! Do people realise what they are doing to this world. It’s more older people who are
influencing younger kids. It’s a bad habit and it is continuing we need to stop this as soon as we can.

If you think about it every time you chuck one piece of rubbish your killing one animal and hurting waters.
Take notice! Lets stop this, If we do it will be an amazing environment.
We are all in this together kia kaha!.

Have a great day, Bijou.

My letter to Jacinda Ardern

Dear Jacinda Ardern,My name is Bijou. I am a student at a college in a beautiful, little town called Otaki. I wanted to write to you to thank, recognise and let you know what a great leader you are.

Firstly,Thank you. If it wasn't for your leadership we wouldn't be doing so well with Covid-19, You have had to make so many tough decisions but we are grateful for what you did. Thank you for opening up the takeaway shops because I really like Mcdonalds, Kfc, Burger King and all the other food shops!

I recognise you for putting us in lockdown that was a hard thing to do. I know you must have put in some very long hours and worked very hard.

You are a good leader. You were always positive, confident and open to all questions. You are always organised.

Have a good rest of the day, Bijou :)
