Dr.Sass or Nurse Sassy Pants

Dr sass, Nurse sassy Pants
Nurse sassy pants has a crown, she rolls her eyes, pulls her tongue and her main colour is purple. Nurse sassy pants is nice and sweet on the outside but cheeky, rude and awful on the inside. But when you throw anything at her she blows up and throws it back at you. If you touch her you will die! Be warned. She throws fire balls that travel through at 150km per milli second.

Rugby World Cup All Blacks vs England Semi Final

On Saturday night me, my Mum and my Dad went to my friends house to watch the England vs All Blacks game. My mum and dads friends were from the UK so they were going for England but we were going for New Zealand.

Kick off happened. England's defence was pretty good but the All Blacks defence was not so good. Try after try for England. Half time score was not looking good for the All Blacks.

Second half New Zealand got one try and the conversion but it just wasn't enough. New Zealand were officially out from winning the cup. I was devastated. I was crying but then my mums friend gave me the japan band all the supporters wear! That kind of cheered me up but not that much. I cried in to the band and got over it eventually. I guess the All Blacks just didn't live up to my expectations but they did really well!

Who are you going for
South Africa or England
For the finals
Who are you going for, for the 3rd and 4th place
All Blacks vs Wales

4 Seasons

In the world there are 4 seasons that come at all different times in the world. Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. But I'm talking about New Zealand.

Summer is the hottest season of all. The sun comes up and you can go swimming! That's my favourite season.

Autumn is the season were all the leaves fall from the trees and you play in the leaves!

In New Zealand in Winter in other countries it snows but the last time it snowed in New Zealand was in 2014! Winter is just really cold!

Spring is hot and cold. But its cold one minute and hot another minute!

That's all the seasons for you. Hope you Enjoyed!

Ghost Activity

This week our teacher has been reading a new book about a boy named Castle Cranshaw. He was named ghost after his dad and mum had a fight and almost killed each other. The dads gone to jail for quite a while. Ghost misses him sometimes but doesn't at other times. My task I did was about the Guinness world records that Ghost talked about at the start of the story like, A lady who owned the most rubber duckies (5631) and the guy who blew the most balloons up with his nose. So I did the craziest Guinness Guinness world records I could find that happened this year.

If you want to have a sneak peak at my Guinness world records click here to find it

Art and Crafts

Arts and Crafts can be amazing, you can express yourself with all the different colours and equipment. Art helps you express yourself. If your sad, happy or angry you can just chuck things on to it or scribble paint. No matter how you feel you can do art any time. Also you can do it with a friend or family member to make it even more enjoyable!

Arts and Crafts have many pieces of equipment. For drawing, writing and painting you can use, paint, felts, pens, sharpies, water colour and even nail polish. For sticking things on like, pom poms, old ice block sticks, old yogurt containers and many more things. Canvases, paper , easels and cardboard will help to paint or draw your things. You also need paint brushes to detail your art but paint brushes are only for painting water colour and paint on to your canvas.

You can make so many things with all the equipment! Like animals, people, Christmas decorations, Easter decorations and many more things.🎨🖌

Arts so fun and you can do it anytime with anybody but you also have so much fun!

Mini Golfing

Holidays
The second week of the holidays my mum felt bad since she hadn't taken me anywhere through the holidays because she had to work .  We rang my brother and his girlfriend to see if they wanted to come and play mini golf with us down in Porirua. They said they would come home and get ready so we can go mini golfing. As soon as they got home we got ready and drove to Porirua.

As soon as we got there, we saw heaps of people who had already started playing. Since i'm younger then my brother , his girlfriend and my mum, I got the smaller club and they got the bigger ones. Then we got to choose the colour of our golf balls. We got given a piece of paper and a pencil to mark how many hits you had.

There were eighteen holes to go through. The golf courses were pretty hard and some were easy. When we got to the eighth hole on a boat there was a really pretty waterfall. it was bright turquoise and I really wanted to touch it. When we got to the eleventh hole there was a hole in the cave where you could touch the water so I did. Then we went to the sixteenth hole and there was a pipe leading to the water with heaps of pretty shells.

The scores added up pretty quickly. Mine was 86 my brothers was 63 my mums was 57 and then my brothers girlfriend won with 54 pars.

It was really fun playing golf and I really hope to do it again.

Fancy Dress

Fancy Dress💃

“LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THIS IS MAMBO NO.5”. Yesterday morning I woke up so excited for our Waitohu School Fancy Dress! It was being held at Nga Purapura 6:30 till 8:00.

After school I asked my mum if I could get ready in my Daisy Duck costume but she said it was way too early. You know when ever you get really excited about something but it takes so long for the time to go by. I was waiting and waiting and then the clock ticked to 5:45 , I started to get ready and get in my Daisy Duck costume. It included a: bow, yellow tights, purple t-shirt, mermaid shoes, white shorts and a white tutu! When I got there all my friends were there in their awesome costumes. Giorgio was Donald Duck, Nevaeh (L) was Minnie Mouse and Nevaeh (G) was Mickey Mouse.

The first parade of costumes were the little ones who don't go to our school yet but may be coming to our school in a year or a couple of years!

The first classes 1 and 11 did the Jiffy Mixer. After that 2 and 10 did the Bad Hair Day.Then 7 and 8 did the Gumboot Dance. After them 5 and 6 did Virginia Reil. Then it was our turn. “ LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THIS IS MAMBO NO.5. We did our dance moves and finished then it was time to get your family member. I got my brother Hunter. He had no idea what to do. Then 3 and 12 did 5,6,7,8. After 3 and 12 did their dance my friend Mauatua brung me up for their dance.

Then everybody was finished their dances. All of us were hot and flushed. Parents and kids walked around handing out vanilla ice cream. We got given our ice creams ate them up and then talked with our friends.

This was my last year doing the fancy dress and it was the best year. But hopefully if I have a grandchild or child when I'm much older. I will come and watch the next fancy dress.

Folk Dancing!

Folk Dancing
This past week our teacher has been teaching us about folk dancing, now this is called strip the willow. Were not going back to the 90's or 80's. This is 2019 folk dancing. For the song were dancing to " Mambo no. 5" the songs really cool. The songs based on Disney characters. Me and Giorgio are dressing up as Daisy and Donald Duck. Nevaeh.g and Nevaeh.l are dressing up as Mickey and Minnie mouse.

Folk dancing is with partners and you link arms and go to the opposite person and keep going till you get to the end. This dance is really exciting. I'm really excited for it.

Its going to be great to see other classroom dances and costumes!

Rippa Rugby New Zealand World Cup 2019

On the 25th of August me and the Waitohu School Rippa team went down to wellington for the New Zealand world cup. Previously we had won the Horowhenua Kapiti tournament. So we qualified to the Wellington one. Sunday we got to school got all our stuff ready and went down and chilled at the X backpackers hotel. For dinner we had fish bites and shoe string fries. For desert we had blueberry cheesecake. Then went back to X backpackers on the bus. It was about 7:30 and we were trying to get to sleep but through the night people were knocking and running from our doors so we couldn't get to sleep. (we were suppose to play 8 games but played 7 and won 5 out of 7)

Day 2:

The next day we got ready at about 6:30 in the morning did our hair and got our gear on ready for the tournament. We walked around the block and got warmed up. We went to the warf and saw people singing and dancing. As soon as we got back we had breakfast. Weetbix,Toast and Up&go's. After breakfast we loaded on to the bus and travelled to Wake field park were we were playing. Our first game was against Te Mata school representing Uruguay we lost to them by 2 points but we played our best the next couple of games we won.The night we came back we walked to wellington college for dinner. For dinner we had roast ham, roast pork and heaps of veges better than last night. Then for desert we had mini meringues with fruit syrup. A bowl of fruit and whip cream. After dinner and dessert we asked anyone who new the Git up to come and do it with us. It was so fun. We did the Git up dance with Te Mata School earlier. Then we went on a bus back to the X backpackers. We got ready for bed and got to sleep at about 8:30 way better than last night.

The last & Final day:

The last day we woke up and got ready. After that we went for a walk around the block. We went round in circles till we got back to the hotel. We had breakfast and waited for the bus to come and pick us up. But some other schools got on the bus we were suppose to go on so the games had to start later and some games had already been played. We had a little bit of warm up time. Our first game was versing Samoa we won to them by 4 or 5 points. Our next game is versing Japan, Japan had never been beaten but we beat them by one try. That was the game I got my first try! I was pretty happy with my self. Then we versed Italy we won by five points. Then we found out we didn't get in to any of the quarters, semis or finals which was pretty devastating because we had high hopes. But we felt very proud of ourselves. The finals was Fiji - Auckland and Russia- Manga-papa school. Fiji won the game. Then it was prize giving- Fiji got the cup. Russia got silver medals and South Africa got third place medals. We did our best and hope other kids qualify like us next year!

Fish in a tree

This is  fish in a tree. Fish in a tree is a book about a girl named Ally with dyslexia and has one enemy called Shay. This is my activity for Week 1. Since Ally has dyslexia but she didn't know yet. So it was hard for her to read and write. So I choose to write a little description of Ally and this is it. I hope you enjoy. Maybe you could read this someday.
